What is an escorted tour?

An escorted tour is a form of tourism in which travelers are escorted in a group to various destinations, versus a self-guided tour where the tourist is on their own. An escorted tour is conducted by a tour director who takes care of all services from the beginning to the end of the tour.

How are you different from other group tours? 

We are a small family-owned business. We strive to offer you a private vacation experience. You can change your itinerary for a tailored tour, in some cases even during the tour. You can travel with your group of friends, family members, or colleagues with no need to share a coach with other unknown guests. Your private tour director will respond directly to your needs and wishes.

Is my tour really private?

Yes. You can travel as a single individual or with your travel companion/-s like your friends, family or colleagues. In some cases when you travel alone or with a single companion, and you wish to meet other travelers, we can try to arrange a joint tour with a different group. A tour director, who is as well your private driver, will accompany you along the tour.

How do I book a tour?

In the first step please use a contact form on the selected tour page and let us know who, when, and for how long would like to travel. Please share in the contact form your wishes and possible special conditions. We will check the availability and contact you with an offer. When all the tour details and a price are agreed upon, you will be asked to send us back a signed Tour Registration Form and Agreement to our Terms and Conditions including Waiver. Also, a deposit of 20% of your total price has to be paid within 7 days. After we received all the forms and deposit, your booking is secured.

Can I change the duration of the tour?

Yes. The standard tour duration we offer is 7 nights / 8 days but you can always add additional days and we will come up with additional attractions to fill up your vacation. Please check the availability before the reservation. 

Can I change the itinerary before the reservation?

Yes. Share with us all your wishes in the contact form. 

Can I change the itinerary during the tour?

Yes, it could be possible under the circumstances. We understand that traveling is full of surprises and spontaneous decisions. Your tour director will take all your wishes under the consideration and try to fulfill them as long as every passenger is in agreement with the change. However, you accept that the final judgment and decision lies with the tour director. Please note that for spontaneous itinerary changes extra costs may apply. 

Is it a final price I see on the website?

No, this is a starting price per person for the selected tour based on the double occupancy. For a single room, you should count around 550 – 750 € supplement. Price will vary due to many factors, like a season, additional days, additional attractions and others. Please check the price by submitting a request to us.

What accommodation should I expect?

You will be accommodated in a 3-4 star hotel with a private bathroom. In the room by default applies a non-smoking policy. The hotels are hand-picked and are based on a personal experience or a high level of recommendations. Some of the hotels will offer private parking space for our vehicle but others may require a short walk to the vehicle. 

Are meals included in the price?

Breakfast and dinner are included in your price. Breakfast, mostly in a form of a buffet, will be served in the hotel. For a dinner, a local restaurant will be recommended and a bill for a menu with one beverage will be taken care of by your tour director. During the transfers, snacks and beverages will be available in the vehicle. 

Are entrance fees included in the price?

Entrance fees for all the attractions mentioned in the itinerary are included in your price. For any upgrades or additional activities extra costs may apply. Any other activities or attractions you wish to visit during the tour are also to be paid for by you. You are responsible for the costs of any additional activities or attractions you decide to see during the tour.

What vehicles do you use?

Depending on the size of your group you will travel in a car or a van/minibus. The vehicles are new and of high quality. 

How much luggage can I take?

You should travel light. One of the reasons is the limited vehicle capacity. But also in some cases, you will have to carry your luggage short walking distances between a parking place and a hotel. General conditions are: a single bag with dimensions no more than 22″x18″x10″ (55x46x25cm) and weight no greater than 44 lbs./20kg is permitted plus a piece of hand luggage with dimensions no more than 12″x11″x6″ (30x28x14cm) and should not be hard-case luggage.

Where will you pick me up?

Pick-up and drop-off points may vary. If you fly in from overseas, you will be picked up from the airport. Since we operate from Germany, the airport of choice would be Berlin, Munich or Frankfurt in most cases. However other international airports in neighboring countries like Prague or Warsaw may fit better depending on your tour itinerary. If you arrive by other means of transport we can pick you up in place of your choice. 

Can you arrange transportation to the pick-up point?

Any airfare or other means of transport you need to take to reach a tour start point you ought to arrange by yourself. However, we can suggest the best pick-up point and help find the best connections. 

I have a certain disability or a health condition, can I take the tour?

Unfortunately at the moment, we are not able to offer assistance for some disabilities and health conditions. If you are not sure if the tour is possible for you, please contact us to discuss the details. We always try to adapt the itinerary personally to your needs.

What documents do I need to travel?

A passport that is valid at least for another 6 months on the day of your departure home. Depending on the issuing country you may need an additional visa. Please note that it is your responsibility to acquire mandatory travel documents before the travel.

Am I health insured for the trip?

We do not offer insurance. It is necessary that you have travel health insurance during your vacation with us. Please contact your insurance company before the trip for adequate travel insurance.

What are the cancelation fees?

In the event you are unable to participate in the tour, the following cancellation rules will apply:

cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure: the deposit is non-refundable.

cancellation 29 to 14 days prior to departure: 50% of the total price is non-refundable.

cancellation 13 to 3 days prior to departure: 80% of the total price is non-refundable.

cancellation less than 3 days prior to departure or a no-show: 100% of the total price is non-refundable.

cancellation during the tour and not completing the itinerary no matter the reason is not subject to any refund.
