Ksiaz Castle Tour
Ksiaz Castle is one of the largest castles in Poland. Such a monumental and beautifully situated architectural complex is unique in Europe. Discover the meeting place of the crowned heads, where the history of the aristocratic von Hochberg family intertwines with the mysteries of World War II. After the Nazi regime took over in 1944, the castle buildings joined the massive underground Project “Riese” complex under the supervision of SS officers, probably as a planned headquarters and future residence for Adolf Hitler.
Wroclaw Sightseeing
Afterward, you will take a drive to Wroclaw, the largest city in the Silesia region. You will enjoy and learn about its remarkable sites during a sightseeing tour with a qualified local guide. The city has a more than a thousand-year history, and over that time it has been a part of the Kingdoms of Poland, Prussia, Bohemia, Hungary, the Habsburg monarchy of Austria, and Germany. In 1945, as part of the Recovered Territories, Wroclaw once more joined Poland as a result of substantial boundary adjustments and evictions following World War II. During the tour, you will see the stunning Market Square with a Town Hall, University building and cross the river to Cathedral Island. During the stroll through the medieval streets of the old town you may also spot a few dwarfs – these rather unusual inhabitants chose no other place than Wroclaw for their home.
Dinner
After the walking tour, around 4 p.m., you will try the best street food in the city. You will enjoy a meal and drink of your choice.
Hotel drop-off
After the dinner at 5 p.m., you will drive back with your private transportation to Germany for an expected arrival at your hotel around 9 p.m.
