General Terms and Conditions 

General Information

Tour will be operated by registered Tour Operator Maciej Krupski Travel based in Schrenzer Str. 2, 06188 Landsberg, Germany. 

Reservation and Payment

To reservation is binding after we receive a complete Tour Registration Form, Agreement to our Terms and Conditions including Waiver and a Deposit. You will receive the mentioned forms per E-Mail after the itinerary and tour dates are agreed upon to. A deposit of 20 % of the final price per person per tour is required for us to confirm a tour and should be transferred within 7 days after the reservation. This deposit will be used to book all of the accommodation, transport, and any other attraction listed in the itinerary. The final payment of the total price is due 30 days prior to the start of the tour. If we do not receive the final payment by this date, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Deposit and all other payments are to be made through bank money transfer to the bank account of the tour operator indicated in the invoice.

Cancellations and Refunds

In the event you are unable to participate in the tour, the following cancellation rules will apply:

  • cancellation up to 30 days prior to departure: the deposit is non-refundable.
  • cancellation 29 to 14 days prior to departure: 50% of the total price is non-refundable.
  • cancellation 13 to 3 days prior to departure: 80% of the total price is non-refundable.
  • cancellation less than 3 days prior to departure or a no-show: 100% of the total price is non-refundable.
  • cancellation during the tour and not completing the itinerary no matter the reason is not subject to any refund.

Please note that cancellation fees are being used to reserve every single part of your itinerary and those in many cases are non or partially refundable. Maciej Krupski Travel is will always act in favor of the customer and try to use already made payments to reschedule the tour instead of canceling it.

Special Assistance and Wishes

You must report any disability requiring special attention on your Registration Form. You should also share with us any other needs and wishes like for example allergies or special types of meals you prefer. We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate those needs. We do our best to create a tour especially for you but for some of disabilities or special needs our tours will not be suitable or possible. It is important to discuss them directly with the tour operator before making the reservation.

Young Travelers

Minors under age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the whole duration of the tour.

Accommodation and Transportation

Accommodation will be provided in 3-4 star hotels with a private bathroom based on double occupancy. Single occupancy is possible with an extra charge if the customer expresses the need before the reservation.

Meals and Beverages

Breakfast and Dinner are included in the tour price. Breakfast mostly will be served in the hotel. Dinner will be served in a restaurant as indicated in the itinerary. Snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) are available at no cost during transportation. 

During transportation a moderate consumption of alcohol (provided exclusively by the tour operator) is possible. However, the tour director has every right to stop serving alcohol if he judges that the intoxication level and behavior of a passenger are inconvenient or dangerous. 

Smoking

If you are a smoking person, we can try to accommodate your request for a smoking room. However, Europe has a non-smoking policy in most hotels and public places. Smoking in the tour vehicle is prohibited.

Luggage Allowance

Due to limited vehicle capacity, a single bag with dimensions no more than 22″x18″x10″ (55x46x25cm) and weight no greater than 44 lbs./20kg is permitted. Carry-on/hand luggage is limited to one piece per person, with dimensions no more than 12″x11″x6″ (30x28x14cm) and should not be hard-case luggage.

Included in the Tour Price

Included in your tour price: accommodations for each night; all breakfasts and other meals as listed in the itinerary; admission fees to destinations visited on the scheduled itinerary; all transportation costs including pick-up and drop-off at the airport or any other prior stated meeting point; snacks and beverages available in the vehicle during transfers.

NOT Included in the Tour Price

Excluded from your tour price: airfare or any other transport to the pick-up point; travel insurance; free time activities; tips and gratuities; any other meals, fees, or activities that are not listed in the itinerary.

Passports and Visas

Travelers from abroad should consult with the appropriate consulates in advance to determine if visas are required to travel to Europe or each country on the itinerary. Customers are responsible for obtaining their passports and for meeting the health requirements needed to complete the tour. A valid passport with an expiration date due in more than 6 months is obligatory. 

Safety

Maciej Krupski Travel cannot control all risks and dangers that may arise during your participation in tours operated by the company. These risks and dangers include those inherent to traveling. Every country on the itinerary is considered safe for tourists and so are the accommodation and other attractions on the route. All transfers are executed in a motor vehicle like a car or a van. The vehicle is operated by a tour director with years of driving experience and all required documents entitling him to carry out passenger transport. During the tour, Maciej Krupski Travel will make its best effort to ensure that adequate safety measures are taken. However, for your own safety in case of any emergency, it is required for every customer to have travel insurance.

Tour Itineraries

Tour itineraries are subject to change. Traveling is full of unexpected twists and turns. On tour, we remain adaptable and understand that our accommodations, routes, and destinations may change. Unfinished elements of the tour schedule are not refundable.

Tour Participation

During the tour, you agree to respect your Travel Director’s authority and judgments. If your health, level of fitness, or conduct, in the opinion of your Travel Director, is endangering or appears likely to endanger your health or wellbeing, or the health or wellbeing of any third party (including other guests and the Travel Director), or the safe, comfortable, or happy progress of the trip, you may be excluded from all or part of the trip without refund or recompense.

Health Requirements

Customers are responsible for meeting the health requirements needed to complete the tour. 

Travel Insurance Coverage

It is required that a customer on our tours have suitable travel health insurance arranged in advance. We also highly recommend that your travel insurance covers the costs of the cancellation of your trip and repatriation in the event of illness or accident.

Tours Cancelled by Us

In the unlikely situation that your tour is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, Maciej Krupski Travel will return your complete payment. Maciej Krupski Travel has no further duties to tour participants once this occurs.

If we need to cancel or change your tour due to events beyond our control, such as (but not limited to): war, threat of war, terrorist activity, natural disasters, unforeseeable circumstances, or industrial action, then no refunds or compensation payments will be made. We kindly recommend you have appropriate travel protection set up for such possibilities. 

Price Change

We reserve the right to a price change in case of sudden and unforeseeable events on the market like eg. A significant raise in gas prices or any other factors we can not control.

Responsibility

All the accommodations, restaurants, attractions, and other service providers are independent contractors and are not in legal relation or venture with Maciej Krupski Travel. All of these travel features are subject to the supplier’s terms and conditions as well as the laws of the countries where the services are provided.

When Maciej Krupski Travel deems it essential for the comfort, convenience, or safety of tour participants, Maciej Krupski Travel reserves the right to accept or refuse any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour member from the trip, or to make modifications to the schedule.

The tour participant understands and accepts that Maciej Krupski Travel will not be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss), or expenditure caused by any act or omission of Maciej Krupski Travel or any tour supplier.

COVID-19 Travel Requirements


It is your responsibility to ensure you meet all the COVID-19 requirements to enter Europe and every country listed on the itinerary. In most countries, you need to be either vaccinated or take a necessary PCR test before or upon arrival. Some of the countries require a prior registration form online before the travel. Be aware that in Europe an entrance to facilities, attractions and restaurants for not-vaccinated individuals is limited.

Due to the fact that Maciej Krupski Travel operates from Germany, most of the Tours will start from Germany. In the event of failing to enter Europe or a quarantine warrant due to the COVID-19 restrictions, any additional costs are your responsibility. It may also result in an itinerary change or a tour cancellation in which case the paid amount for the tour will not be refunded. However, Maciej Krupski Travel will take all possible measures to provide you with the best service possible under the circumstances. 

In addition to state regulations, we ask that you take personal responsibility for your own well-being. This begins with packing any necessary equipment, such as sanitizers, masks, or anything else. Please keep physical distance and hygiene standards in mind while on your trip, and follow all health guidelines from our travel partners. Let us work together to keep each other safe and healthy.

Waiver of Liability

Customer waives his or her right to sue Maciej Krupski Travel if any mishaps, injuries or loss were to occur whilst on tour.
