Tour Overview
Tour Description
Szczecin is one of the largest cities in Poland and, thanks to its close proximity to Berlin, makes a perfect destination for a day trip from the German capital. Located on the banks of the Oder River near the Baltic Sea, the city offers a fascinating mix of history, architecture, green spaces, and excellent Polish cuisine.
Often referred to as the “Paris of the North,” Szczecin is known for its wide boulevards, impressive 19th- and early 20th-century bourgeois architecture, and elegant urban layout inspired by Parisian city planning. Visitors can explore charming old town areas, the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle, scenic river terraces, and lively local restaurants and cafés.
Just outside the city lies the famous Crooked Forest — a mysterious grove of uniquely curved pine trees that remains one of Poland’s most intriguing natural phenomena. The exact reason for their unusual shape is still not fully explained today.
